This project involves the construction of a three-cell Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) culvert at Sabaila Bazar in Dhanusha District. The culvert is designed to facilitate safe and efficient passage of stormwater or seasonal runoff beneath the roadway, thereby preventing waterlogging, road damage, and traffic disruption.
The scope of work includes site clearance, excavation for foundation, construction of RCC foundations and base slab, casting of side walls and intermediate walls (to form three separate cells), and placement of the top slab. Wing walls, aprons, and headwalls are also constructed to guide water flow and protect the structure from erosion. Proper curing, backfilling, and compaction are carried out to ensure structural strength and durability.
